2008 Primetime Emmy Awards Red Carpet

Kyra Sedgwick wore a very simple white L’Wren Scott sheath, Fred Leighton jewels and Jimmy Choo sandals.

Debra Messing is wearing a black silk tulle gown from Monique Lhuillier Spring 2009 and Fred Leighton diamonds.

Terri Hatcher is wearing one of my favorite designers, Monique Lhuillier. She definitely stands out in yellow.

Sandra Oh, from Grey’s Anatomy, is wearing a embellished lace Oscar de la Renta gown which is right on trend for the fall, Bulgari jewels and a vintage Chanel purse.

Brooke Shields is definitely a front runner in a fuchsia tiered Badgley Mischka gown and Fred Leighton diamonds.

This is a great color on her.

Heidi Klum arrived at the 2008 Primetime Emmy Awards in an asymmetrical gray Armani Privé gown. I love her Lorraine Schwartz butterfly earrings.

Kate Walsh is wearing a black Zuhair Murad gown, a Jimmy Choo clutch and she is wearing $1 million worth of Neil Lane diamonds. I’m sure a bodyguard is not too far behind.

Julia Louise-dreyfus is sexy in her salmon-colored silk gown by Narciso Rodriguez. The silhouette is great!

The Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2008 dress that Jennifer Love Hewitt is wearing is adorable but for some reason she decided to keep her hair casual.

Evangeline Lily is wearing an Elie Saab couture embroidered and sequined gown and Kwiat diamonds.

Felicity Huffman dazzled in her Reem Acra gown. The dress fits her perfectly.

Christina Applegate has survived cancer and she is gorgeous in a blue asymmetric Reem Acra gown with gold print, Lorraine Schwartz diamonds and Jimmy Choo heels

Cynthia Nixon looks ordinary in her aqua Calvin Klein gown. To me, the dress just falls flat.

Oh Phoebe Price…….

Nicollette Sheridan is stunning in her purple Angel Sanchez gown. The pleats make this dress pop.


Mariska Hartigay looks stunning in a Carolina Herrera marigold gown, accessorized with Fred Leighton jewelry and Jimmy Choo heels.

Marcia Cross looks like a princess in a tulle-skirted Elie Saab Haute Couture dress, Rene Caovilla heels and Hearts on Fire diamonds

Jenna Fischer, from The Office, looks great in this strapless green chiffon Gustavo Cadile gown.

Olivia Wilde is probably the best dressed of the night in her pearl Reem Acra gown, Jimmy Choo heels, Stuart Weitzman clutch and Kwiat jewels.

Gorgeous.

Tina Fey arrived at the Emmys in an eggplant strapless David Meister gown. Loves it.

I love the ruching on America Ferrera’s black bubble hem dress. The length is a little off. She accessorizes with Fred Leighton antique diamonds and Rene Caovilla lace pumps.

Hayden Panettiere always looks sophisticate, despite her age, on the red carpet. Here she is wearing a beaded satin Badgley Mischka gown and antique Fred Leighton diamonds.

Eva Longoria wore a light blue flapper style Marchesa dress. Not too sure about the shoes or the bow.

Today is the grand opening of the Topshop US website and those of you who are trendy should be excited! Now we can all shop the trendy clothes that have been seen on Mischa Barton, Solange, Paris Hilton Kate Hudson, Daisy Lowe, Kelly Osbourne and more.

New York Fashion Week Spring 2009 Day 1

Erin Fetherston Spring 2009 collection is the girly girl collection. It reminds me of rainbows and unicorns.

Lots of organza, ruffles, pastels, deep sky blues and sequins. I love it!

BCBG

BCBG Max Azria Spring 2009 gave you sexy draped evening wear with almost no accessories.

Silver was a recurring theme in a lot of the looks but there was also bright orange and teal. A very wearable collection.

Jason Wu

Jason Wu Spring 2009 collection is definitely for the carefree woman. Not a lot of fussy details, just great design. Pink was a recurring theme on the catwalk but he threw in a little black and white as well. every look was different ranging from shorts to pants to red carpet dresses.

Rag & Bone

Just watching the women in the Rag & Bone Spring 2009 fashion show made me feel tough. Everything was skinny and edgy with a lot of leatherand tapered legs. There were exposed zippers and studs. This line is for a girl with an edge. Loves it!

Julie Haus

Julie Haus Spring 2009 is one show I definitely wanted to see as this was her first show.

The models looked as if they got dressed effortlessly but still looked young and chic.

A lot of variety in this line with zebra prints, polka dots and paint strokes.

Fashion Rocks 5th Anniversary

Fergie has the folklore thing going on with her shirt from the Gucci Fall 2008 line.

The blouse definitely makes a statement so she kept everything else simple with black pants and gold studded shoes which are right on trend or the fall.

Terrence Howard is looking dapper as usual even though he has the Eddie Munster thing going on in the front of his head.

Leighton Meister. HHHHmmmmmmm. I am still thinking about whether or not I like this dress.

Not too crazy about her in these colors.

Beyonce has definitely toned down the glitz and glamour on the red carpet, making room for the younger starlets but she looks cute here. I love the hips on this dress.

She has matured beautifully.

The colors here on Mary J Blide are throwing me off a little bit.

I’ll get back to you guys on this one.

Ciara is currently signed to a modeling contract with Wilhemina and she is working it in her Elie Saab Fall 2008. She has changed her vibe a lot. I likes it.

I’m pretty sure Justin is wearing something from his William Rast collection and possibly channeling Katie Holmes with these cuffs.

Natasha Bedingfield is just average here.

Not sure the hair is working for her.

Hayden Panettiere is cute as usual in her Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2008 psychedelic mini dress.

She never plunges off the deep end and is always together on the red carpet.

I love Leona Lewis and she can never do wrong except with these black tights.

Her Roberto Cavalli Resort 2009 dress would have been perfect without them.

Chris Brown is doing his best Michael Jackson impersonation here.

I love how Hilary Swank took a risk on the red carpet. She looks so girly in her lilac satin dress from Givenchy Fall 2008 Couture. I love the detail on the side. Even the matchy matchy thing is working.

Charlize Theron is in rocker mode with her silver blazer and leather leggings.

She brings the looks together with her statement necklace.

Always a gold star on the red carpet.

Elizabeth Banks in Stella McCartney’s Pre-Fall 2008.

I’m glad she broke up the shine with the maroon peep toes.

Rihanna looks exquisite in her Monique Lhuiller Fall 2008 gown.

She opted not to wear a lot of jewelry and it works.

Miley Cyrus sparkled on the red carpet in her mini dress by Zuhair Murad from his Pret a Porter collection.

Of course it is way over the top as usual but we love her for that right? lol.

She looks cute!

I love this dress that Kydia Hearst is wearing but she looks way too thin.

Vanessa Carlton has been out of the spotlight for a while so we’ll give her a pass on the knee hi stockings.

Debbie Harry shows she’s still got it in her black dress with the draped front. She looks somewhat elegant with that rocker chick vibe thanks to the bracelets.

I love how Solange tries to be different but it seems like she’s trying to hard. Love the YSL platforms though.

I thought this was a mannequin. You can tell Tyra Banks is smiling with her eyes.

What’s wrong with this picture?……EVERYTHING! I could have dealt with the dress. The dress and maybe the shoes. If I had to, Icould have stomached the jewelry. But what is up with the jacket and top hat? Come on Lil Mama it’s time to step up your game.

Khloe Kardashian in jail

Today, 24 year old, Khloe Kardashian reported to jail to serve her 30 day sentence for violating her probation.

She was arrested last March for DUI. Her probation was to complete an alcohol education program and community service. She did neither so the judge sentenced her to 30 days in jail. Her mugshot came out pretty fierce.

I truly dont understand why she didn’t comply with the terms. We all know she is the least known sibling of the Kardashian clan and has nothing else to do but run the store, Dash. Oh, and she attends a lot of parties.

Jessica Alba has a baby girl!

Usweekly reports that Jessica Alba and her husband of 3 weeks had a baby girl over the weekend.
She was born this weekend at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. No word yet if she officially named the baby Honor.
Hopefully she welcomed the baby with the smile she has above instead of the frown she’s been carrying around forever.

Obama just might become President

After winning the democratic nomination, Sen. Barack Obama speaks to the audience during a rally at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.

“Tonight, Minnesota, after 54 hard-fought contests, our primary season has finally come to an end,” he said. “Tonight, I can stand before you and say that I will be the Democratic nominee for president of the United States.”

Now we’ll have to watch more ridiculous ads of him and John McCain bashing each other during Primetime television until someone becomes President.

Blindsided


Apparently Sarah Larson had no idea Ceorge Clooney was through with her. “She thought they were getting married. Instead, she got dumped,” a friend told Fox News. “She’s really upset. Devastated.”

Sarah thought they were getting married and gushed to Harper’s Bazaar in a recent interview about George being the love of her life.
Don’t feel too bad for her though because Sarah has already fallen back into her life as a waitress making about $1,000 a night and I’m sure Hugh Hefner will be offering her a spot in Playboy soon.
