Let’s Pretend….the Jennifer Lopez Edition

Jennifer Lopez arrives at ELLE Magazine’s 15th Annual Women in Hollywood Event in Beverly Hills, California wearing this sheer Dolce & Gabbana dress. If I were the stylist, I would have definitely nixed the black spanx or unitard and used something nude. The dress needs to be form fitting on her so I would have added a thin gold or nude belt around the waist to play off of the shoes and clutch. A black belt would have made the dress pop too because of the contrasting. I would have put her hair completely up.

Let’s pretend you are Beyonce’s stylist.

How would you work this dress from RM by Roland Mouret Pre Fall 2008
that she wore to the 2008 New Yorkers for Children Gala?

If I were her stylist I would have softened up the shapes of the bracelets. The cut of the dress is interesting and stands out on its own so she doesn’t need the straps around the ankle. I would have added the Christian Louboutin Decollete leather pumps for a more polished look.
