Jennifer Hudson’s mom and brother killed

Jennifer Hudson’s mother, Darnelle Hudson Donerson, 57, was discovered slain in her home in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood, along with her brother. The two adults were found fatally shot at a home at 70th Street and Yale Avenue at 2:44 PM p.m. Friday, authorities said. A cousin who lived nearby discovered the bodies. Right now, there are rumors that the shooting is domestic.

Please say a prayer for Jennifer, as we know this is very difficult time for her.

UPDATE 6:45 PM: Police are saying Hudson’s 7-year-old nephew may have been taken from the scene. Police are looking for 1994 white Suburban with license plate X584859.

UPDATE 7:30 PM: The missing boy, identified as Julian King, 7, may have been abducted by William Balfour, a suspect in the murder who is considered armed and dangerous, according to police.

Balfour may be driving a white Chevy Suburban SUV with Illinois license plate X584859 or a teal/green Chrysler Concord four-door sedan with a left front headlight hanging off and scratches on all along the left side with temporary tags 332K823.

UPDATE 8:10 PM William Balfour, the man suspected in the killing of Jennifer’s mom and brother is her brother-in-law. He is married to her sister Julia and he is currently on parole for attempted murder. The little boy who is missing, Julian King, is his stepson.

UPDATE 11:15 PM William Balfour is in custody but Julian King’s whereabouts are still unknown. William is refusing to cooperate with authorities.
