Jovovich-Hawk was established by friends Milla Jovovich and Carmen Hawk in LA in 2003. It was first bought exclusively up by Fred Segal and sold out almost instantly. Now in its’ fifth season, the designers have partnered with GO. International™ to create the next limited edition collection for spring 2008 debuting March 2. The vintage inspired collection features smock dresses, minis, tunics and great prints. The pieces range in price from $12.99 to $39.99 and will be featured in Target for 60-90 days.

New York Fashion Week: Abaete

Designer Laura Poretzky says the inspiration for her fall Abaete collection came from the Middle Ages,
Grecian draping and the work of Madame Gres. Some designs had exposed side zippers with leather accents,
sable fur trim and floral pewter hardware. Poretzky also gave us a preview of her eighth collection for Payless, which included the “Ysabel”, a satin bootie, the silkcrepe “Esa” pump, the “Nell” peep-toe pump, the “Byzantine” hard clutch and “Bryce” studded briefcase, all available at the store at the end of August.
